Hi, my name is Zack Kinlein and I joined the Clowers group in the fall of 2019. I earned my bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Towson University where I performed research involving the trace analysis of organic aerosols in the atmosphere. Prior to coming to WSU, I was provided an opportunity through ORISE to intern at the US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense where I performed research in the field of analytical toxicology.
My research here at WSU is centered around a technique known as traveling wave structures for lossless ion manipulations (TW-SLIM). More specifically, I am interested in enhancing our understanding of the fundamentals of TW-SLIM as well as the development of new TW-SLIM configurations and applications.
